| Team Summaries | Red Wings Notes: The Red Wings win streak continued with a strong team effort against a tough Rock Hounds team. Adam Crampton cleared the bases with a triple in the bottom of the third that broke open a scoreless game, and Marshawn Jaramillo followed with a 2 run home run! Five Red Wings had solid singles - Lucas Ognibene, Mitchell Schroeder, Aidan McNulty, Sidartha Taruc and Adrien Hanley. Schroeder, Finn Capurro-Durkee, Gabriel Esler, Taruc, and Hanley also had one or more runs batted in. Patience at the plate also served the Wings well, with every player reaching base. Led by starter Jaramillo, Red Wigs pitchers struck out 11 batters and gave up just 1 walk. Jaramillo was relieved by Ognibene, and Schroeder closed out the game. Strong defense helped out all three pitchers. Wings caught three pop-ups, including one that was hard hit to first base and snagged by a leaping Jaramillo. McNulty made the throw from third to Crampton at first for an early put-out, and Ognibene at second threw to Jaramillo at first for the final out. Great job Wings! Rock Hounds Notes: |
