| Team Summaries | Whatcom Notes: Score by periods 1st 2nd 3rd 4th OT Whatcom 1 - 1 - 3 - 2 - 1 Stanwood 1 - 3 - 1 - 2 - 0 Stanwood opened the scoring in the game with the first of three goals from J Perez. A goal with 2 seconds left in the quarter by Eli Davis evened it up at 1-1. Stanwood had 2 unanswered goals in the second to go up 4-2 at the half. Whatcom took the lead in the second half on multiple goals from Dan Hernandez and Jonathan Manering-Bashaw and had a 7-5 lead late into the 4th quarter. Stanwood showed a lot of determination and scored two goals with less than 2 minutes left in the game, with the tying goal by Perez with 15 seconds left. Dan Hernandez scored the game winner in OT for Whatcom. A hard played game by both teams, which could have ended up going either way. Good luck to the Spartans with the rest of their season.
