Team Summaries	Stanwood Notes: No notes Whatcom Notes: When Whatcom and Stanwood get together, it is usually a hard fought, close match, and the game today was no exception. The beginning of the game started with big hits from both sides. Stanwood jumped out to a 4-0 lead on the strength of 3 first quarter goals by Kennon Mighell. Whatcom settled down in the second quarter and cut the score to 4-2 by halftime on unassisted goals by Daniel Hernandez and Blaine Nesbit. Whatcom continued to hold the momentum in the third quarter and tied the game 4-4. Stanwood went up by two goals scored with Whatcom playing man down. Halfway through the fourth quarter, Stanwood extended their lead to 8-5. Whatcom rallied to tie the game 8-8 with the game clock winding down on goals by Colin Aanes and Dan Hernandez. The first overtime period saw Whatcom with extended play on attack, but Stanwood's defense and goalie didn't budge, and the first OT ended tied. Shortly into the second OT period, Tucker Anderson scored the game winner off a fast break, giving Stanwood the win. A very exciting game that saw an epic battle on every face off between Kyler Crow of Whatcom and Jesse Aldapa of Stanwood. Congrats to Stanwood for a hard hitting, well played game. We look forward to the rematch in April.
