Tyler Dougherty and Barry McDonough netted 2 goals each in the first quarter, while defenseman Brad Bomberry contributed an unassisted goal, racing downfield with a ground ball and scoring bottom right corner. Redmond played perhaps their best quarter of the year, dominating faceoffs and ground balls, while preventing Wenatchee from getting off a shot on goal. Redmond tallied another 5 goals in the second quarter, while Tidd put Wenatchee on the board on an assist from Sauer. Hunter MacDonald added 2 goals late in the period, and Redmond led at the half 11-1. The defense continued their dominance in the third period, allowing only 2 shots from Wenatchee, ably blocked by Nico Shewey.
