What equates to a DII title bout, Overlake and Redmond would switch from Friday to today. Redmond wound up moving fields, Overlake missing players, but a prelude of playoffs early.

Redmond's Cody Bernstein opens the scoring with a solo effort, followed by brother Jake with an unassisted. Jake hits Tyler Dougherty and Redmond starts and finishes the first round of the bout leading 3-0.

The second would be much more of the same, with Overlake missing defense, and three on the bench, they are fighting for every possession against a strong Redmond team. Jake Bernstein scores another unassisted, and then feeds Tyler Dougherty for number 5. The Bernsteins complete the scoring for the half, with Cody's second goal assisted by Barry McDonough and Jake's third goal assisted by Harrison Valentine. At halftime, Overlake has yet to answer, trailing 7-0.

The third would be much more contested. Dolack fires a pass to Sky Tweedy, for their first goal just a minute in. Schmidt scores one unassisted. Cody Bernstein responds with another goal, and the score is 8-2. Valentine hits McDonough for number 9. McDonough assists Dougherty for another, and the score is 10-3 as the clock winds down in the third. Sky Tweedy scores for Overlake after a G. Dolack feed. At the end of three, Redmond is in complete control with a commanding 10-4 lead.

Joe Dolack fights hard in the fourth, and tallies number 5. Transition for Redmond results in an answer, as a roller just past Grubb in the Marymoor mud. George Dolack scores another to close the lead to 5, as Overlake starts a comeback late in the fourth. Jake Bernstein creates a possession with a long stick, finds McDonough, and he finds Dougherty for a heart breaker goal. Immediately after winning the face-off, Safadago buries one, and its a 12-7 game to finish the fourth quarter.
