Neither team ever had more than a 2 goal lead all night. The 7-7 tie at the half was accomplished mainly by Northshore's Taylor Wisman and Bowen Hadley on only 8 shot attempts, while Lakeside shot 29 times, 12 off target and 10 stopped by keeper Stu. Play opened up a bit more in the 2nd half, with Lakeside able to keep pace, culminating in two man-down goals by David Jamieson, one fed by Sten Jernudd to get to one-goal up at 7:30 to go. Northshore brought it home with three consecutive goals from Foster Wisman, Bowen Hadley and a final one from Robert DeLisle.
