Game Summary
A tough loss for Northshore on the last game of the regular season. Vashon goal by Vulture Ross Bower off the first faceoff. NS responded on a Jake Dossett to Robert DeLisle score, and back-and-forth action continued. Both goalies repelled 5 shots, and Vashon led 4-3 to end the first period.

The second was similar; NS goals from Bowen Hadley, Jake Dossett and Taylor Wisman. The first half ended 7-6 NS.

The third period was also close, with NS goals from Robert, Bowen and Taylor, opening as much as a 3-goal advantage. But Vashon scored 4 times including 2 on EMO and a final goal man-down; ending knotted at 10-10.

The fourth period went scoreless. Vashon sat in the penalty box for 5 minutes, including 3 non-releasables for deep-pocketed sticks, but NS could not take advantage. Bowen Hadley scored on a feed from Taylor Wisman, but it was called back for in-the-crease, time ran out and overtime ensued.

First OT faceoff went to NS, but turnover to Vashon, and Northshore in the box for a slash. Stuart stopped one and NS was back to all-even, then another turnover and penalty against Northshore. Vashon came back, Stuart stopped one more, but the loose ball came up Vashon, and Ross Bowers put it in to end it 11-10 Vashon.

We missed injured Foster Wisman tonight, but the deciding factor may have been EMOs. NS was 0/12; Vashon 3/9, including the game winner.

Good game and hats off to the Vashon squad. Best of luck in the playoffs.
