Vashon 3-0-1-0- 4
Issaquah 1-4-1-4- 10

Issaquah came out buzzing around but had trouble finding the net. Despite scoring the game's first goal thrre and half minutes in, the lack of finishing kept Vashon in the ball game. The Vultures finally broke through to tie the game with four minutes left in the quarter. Then Gregor Davidheiser took advantage of scramble at midfield that sent him on a breakaway for a score. He tallied again 30 seconds later after Vashon controlled the faceoff and he pushed an unsettled situation. 3-1 Vashon after the first quarter as they came to playoff some playoff intensity ball and punched Issaquah in the mouth a bit.

Issaquah recovered in the second quarter. Jordan Goldstein started it out and Issaquah would score three more inside the final four minutes of the half... Todd Jones from Riley Goodman in transition... Jake Fritz from Matt O'Neill man up and Goodman from Kevin Powers on a set play to just before halftime.

Third quarter seemed very similar to the third. Issaquah seemed to have eighty percent of the possession but just couldn't break through and find the net. Chad Richardson made several saves for Vashon in the third. Teams would trade goals to keep the two goal margin headed to the final quarter.

Issaquah put the game away in the fourth by dominating possession and finally finding the net. Todd Jones started in unassisted from X. Issaquah won the ensuing face-off and Connor McClain pushed to Jake Fritz who ripped it top shelf. Kevin Powers would add two more goal to put the game out of reach and Issaquah simply possessed the ball all of the last 3 minutes to close it out.

Vashon Notes:
Issaquah is always a great team to play against. They have discipline, heart and class.Vashon played it close through three quarters before Issaquah pulled away in the 4th. Congratulations to Vashon's Senior Goalie Chad Richardson who made some Herculean saves, and the defensive unit that played courageously without its leader Austin Franks.
