Game Summary:
Not a typical game for Northshore. Eastlake came out fired up and broke the ice with the first score after 2 minutes by Michael Harper. But play was sloppy for both sides in the first quarter. Taylor Wisman answered 7 minutes later with one goal on a fake pass, ending the first tied 1-1.

A flurry of back and forth action with good passing to start the 2nd quarter. The scoring went NS-Eastlake-NS-Eastlake all happening within 3 minutes. That passing and catching was looking familiar. Northshore was firing alot but not much got by Eastlake goalie Trevor Olson. The typical offensive spark was missing on the Northshore end and the Eastlake defense was there to pick up on any mistake. Foster Wisman muscled one through on a solo effort goal with 6 minutes to go, which was the only tool in the NS kit that seemed to be working. The first half ended NS 4 to Eastlake 3.

The second half was back to the unusual pattern seen early in the game, with neither team able to take the ball down and finish. A solo goal by Foster with 6 minutes to go in the 3rd ended an 11 minute drought. Another solo effort by Foster 2 minutes later, the 3rd ends NS up 6-3.

In the 4th period, Eastlake had some good ball movement around the crease, and Ryan Hagerman scored on a nice feed from Kohl Hedlund. NS's Foster Wisman added his fifth solo with 4 minutes remaining. Final score Northshore 7 Eastlake 4.

The leading defender for Northshore was Miles Sokol; with 5 groundballs, middie Taylor Wisman with 9 gbs, and LSM Alex Bus with 5 gbs.

A well played game and good effort by Eastlake. Good luck the rest of the way.
