Team Summaries	Mercer Island Notes: No notes Issaquah Notes: Issaquah 3-0-1-0- 4 Mercer Island 2-1-1-2- 6 Daniel Shields opened the scoring for Mercer just 57 seconds into the game as he got top side, split a double and finished. Jordan Goldstein responded less then a minute later with a solo effort of his own. Jake Director found the net just two minutes later to give Issaquah a lead. Teams traded possession before a failed Mercer clear with two minutes left in the quarter gave Todd Jones a breakaway chance that he capitalized on. Daniel Shields would put home another solo effort though with 33 seconds in the period to close the gap for the Islanders. Both teams squandered possessions and man-up opportunities in the second quarter. Steve Caditz broke the ice and ripped one low 46 seconds before half time to tie the game at half. Issaquah took the lead again midway through the third, finally taking advantage of a man-up opportunity. But Caditz would tie it up less then a minute later. In the fourth quarter, Mercer's defense stiffened and Daniel Shields went to work again. His fourth goal gave the Islanders a two goal lead midway through the period and Issaquah never recovered. Alexei Burtscher and Connor McClain played their hearts out on defense for Issaqauh and the offense never really found a rhythm. Mercer rode tough, won the groundball battle, frustrated Issaquah's midfield and had too much Daniel Shields for the purple and gold to overcome.
