Game Overview:
Northshore’s first Division I game.

Curtis came out strong, opening a 3-0 lead with Shawn Blaisdell, Quinn Moody assisted by Dillon Cavanaugh and Landon Carr. Northshore opened the scoring with a goal by Foster Wisman assisted by Robert DeLisle. Back and forth play ended the 1st period 4-3 in favor of Curtis.

The 2nd period Northshore opened with another F. Wisman feed to Jake Dossett to tie things at 4 each. Carr did all the work for Curtis in the 2nd period, adding 2 more to complete a run of 4 solo howitzers. But Northshore answered each time as Taylor Wisman, J. Dossett, Scott Barclay and F. Wisman continued to circle the net with assisted scoring. One more by Taylor ended the first half tied 6-6.

A Curtis score to open the 2nd half, on EMO, then Northshore came back with 5 unanswered goals from F.Wisman, T.Wisman and Bowen Hadley, opening up an 11-7 lead after three periods. Curtis had five penalties in the 3rd, but NS only converted once.

The 4th period saw 2 goals from Northshore both on EMO, with one the other way by Curtis. Late goals by Carr and defenseman Alex Anderson brought Curtis back within three, final score 13-10.

Northshore defensemen kept the pressure to contain the hard Curtis shooting all night. Stuart Dransfield had some good saves and clears to keep the ball going the right way for Northshore.

Thanks for the great game Curtis.
