| Team Summaries | Steelhead Notes: Well, its always hard to write these when things didn't go your way. College Inn looked like they were in mid-season form while we looked as if it was our first game of the year. With 10 new players on the roster, we are still feeling out what each other are going to do. In the first quarter we fell behind by three goals with most of our problems in transition. We were unable to clear the ball with any effectiveness and gave up some untimely fastbreak goals. The second quarter we started to get our stuff together and were able to pull to within a goal at halftime. The third quarter brought more improvement but CI was able to again convert some disrupted situations into easy goals and again pulled out to a three goal lead. As always this early in the season, the fourth quarter brought some soft legs and we were unable to keep up with the pub. As I said earlier we have a lot of new faces and need to get to know each other better. A little more time on the field and we will be alright. Cooper's Notes: |
