Team Summaries Eastside Ravens Notes:
Frigid winds blew off of the vast reaches of Lake Sammamish to greet the Vandals to Skyline Stadium. Somehow the rain managed to stay away as the Ravens continued to get the job done at home.

Ian Lee, just back from a jazz performance at Carnegie Hall, got his season started off right, with an early goal on an assist from Jack Andrews. Andrews had another stellar night, scoring 6 goals with his one assist.

The Vandals played well, scoring 2 first half goals. The half time score was Ravens 6, Vandals 2. It was a clean well officiated game.

A plethora of Ravens garnered individual goals. Each of the first middie line scored, including 'Rupert' Anderson, Brett Sack, and Captain Scott McCann. Middies Bob Lee and K1 Farrell also scored. Ryan Mangis and Jesse 'The Body' Spring could not be denied. Shon Smith, Evan Kennedy, Sack and McCann also had assists.

The Ravens defense put on another solid performance. Eric 'The Man' Yaap made it very tough for the Vandals to score. Kellen Gallacher, James DeMuth, and Jayme McLean continue to gel as a unit. Big Josh Frankland, Jake 'The Hammer' Randolph again played a role in holding the Vandals to three goals.

Another highlight of the game was when Kevin 'Cash' Hackett demanded everyone's attention as he unveiled his much talked about unstoppable play that he designed during Saturday School, entitled 'Clover'. The coaching staff from Syracuse has been badgering young Hackett for the details. Look out Franklin when you hear clover called.

Maple Valley B Notes:
Great game to the Eastside club who played a very settled control style game from beginning to end. Although the score was a little tough to swallow the Vandals had several bright moments. Three goals by Jim Upshaw, Kyle Stec and Anthony Palmer who also had two assists. Stand up defense by Ryan Grosse and Russ Kawasaki and finally a
+ .500 second half performance by Billy King in the goal.

Congratulations to Eastside for a game well played.
