Game Summary CRUNCH 37 ELEMENT 23

The Element team had a disappointing end to their season with a loss to the dominant Crunch team. The Element team played hard but mis-ques in ball handling and passing resulted in too many turnovers to overcome.

A bright spot for the Element team was some terrific defensive plays by Vincent Morten who also scored five points. Kyle Soo Hoo contributed two points scoring his second basket of the season.

Saturday night the Crunch played stout defense and spread the scoring as a winning formula for victory over the Element, 37 to 23. The Crunch’s victory along with the Guardian’s win later Saturday night created an end of regular season standings tie for first place with both teams having 8 wins and 1 loss records. The Crunch’s hustle and defense was the backbone to this victory lead by Jake Swinderman, Nicholas Solis and Trevor Patrick. Scoring was spread across the entire roster, lead by Galen Evans (11), Ben Fetzer (9) and Shane Taylor (6). Matthew Conroy had a fine all-around game with 6 rebounds, 5 points and 3 steals.
