| Team Summaries | Tacoma Notes: To the fans at the Tacoma Lion’s vs. Redmond (Ore.) exhibition game, it was a little like Christmas: snow flurries throughout the day, 37 degrees, and a nice win all wrapped up and delivered well before halftime. The Lions played with intensity, running an offense that enabled most of the players to get in a shot by game’s end. The 17-1 final score allowed the team to share playing time deep into the roster and try new positions (defense man Zach Johnson scored his first lifetime lacrosse goal, regular goalie Travis Jones experienced play with a short stick). Bryce Busey played Santa with five assists and one goal, Bryce Johnson and Matt Hilger scored four goals a piece, Quinn Starkey netted two, and a Lions point was scored by Griffin Meister, Alec Stewart, Niko Natalizio, Givanni Natalizio, Matt Semago, Beau Baldassin and Zach Johnson. Hilger, Meister, Starkey, Niko Natalizio and Andy Fuller stood out in the groundball column. The Redmond team made the most of its trip to T-Town, filling their stockings with a lot of souvenir mud from both the field of play and from a voluntary team mud bath after the game.
