| Team Summaries | Tacoma Notes: The Lions rebounded from a lackluster offensive performance against Seattle Prep on Monday and come out firing today. 1 minute into the game defender Nick Truckey picked up a missed Titans pass and took it the length of the field for the first goal of the game. Tacoma was just getting started. 4 minutes later after a couple good shots didn't find the net, middie Griffin Meister found a cutting Alec Stewart for a nice goal on the crease. Alec would return the favor three minutes later with a nice feed to Griffin right on the crease for the 3rd Tacoma goal. With 1 minute left in the quarter Givanni Natalizio drove and beat his defender, fired and found the back of the net. Ten seconds later senior middie Quinn Starkey fed Griffin on the crease to stake Tacoma to a 5-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter was much of the same as Tacoma kept making one more pass and scored goals from right on the crease. At halftime Tacoma had taken a 10-0 lead. A minute and a half into the 3rd quarter Tacoma lost the shutout bid when Titans middie Abts found a cutting Stanko for goal #1. Bryce Johnson got in the score book when he fed Quinn Starkey on the crease for the Lions first goal of the quarter. The Tacoma defense kept playing solid D to keep Lake Tapps at 1 in the 3rd and took a 14-1 lead into the 4th quarter. The fourth quarter saw a lot of back and forth play as the reserves were able to get some quality game experience. Final score Tacoma 16 - Lake Tapps 2. The Lions saw hat tricks from attack Bryce Johnson and middie Quinn and Griffin. Hilger led the team in assist with 4.
