Team Summaries	San Juan Notes: San Juan expected to see a solid Redmond team, and they weren't disapointed. Redmond's defense played very well, and their goalie did a nice job of disrupting the interior passing lanes. San Juan battled hard all the way, and the game was a lot closer than the score indicated. Ben White had a great game at long pole defense for the Dragons. Good luck to the Mustangs in the playoffs! Redmond Notes: San Juan 0-1-0-2 3 Redmond 3-2-4-0 9 San Juan’s defense played tough against the visiting Redmond Mustangs, and it took 2 goals late in the first quarter for Redmond to post an early 3-0 lead at the end of the period. Defenseman Sean Shewey accounted for one goal, running the length of the field with a ground ball before scoring an unassisted goal. Redmond was limited to 2 goals in the second period, and the halftime score was 5-1 in Redmond’s favor. In the third period, Redmond added 4 goals to build a 9-1 lead. San Juan scored the final 2 goals of the game for a final score of 9-3. Redmond’s defense was yet again a key part of the win, relying on team play and goalie John Olin to limit the Dragon’s scoring. Redmond relied on widely dispersed scoring, with 8 players notching goals in the winning effort. Captains John Burke and Tyler Dougherty combined for 16 ground balls during the game, while Clement Signoretty and Jake Bernstein added 4 each.
