Puyallup 2-2-2-3 (9)

Game started with Puyallup dominating face offs and time of possession in the first two quarters. A relentless ride resulted in only 3 Eastlake shots in the first half. Puyallup played its best four quarters of lacrosse this season with both offense and defense contributing to the win.

Puyallup scored the opening goal at 11:15 in the first quarter and added a second at 9:19 and possessed the ball for 13 shots to 1 for Eastlake.

In the second quater Puyallup added two goals to build a four goal advantage at the half.

Eastlake came out in the second half with a lot of fight scoring the first and last goal of the quarter in transition. They moved the ball with precision taking advantage of a couple of fast break goals to beat the Puyallup ride. Score at the end of third was Puyallup 6 Eastlake 3.

Puyallup avoided the fate of the last two games by scoring the last three goals of the game after Eastlake pulled within one goal 6-5 Puyallup with 7:10 left in the quarter. Puyallup scored 2 goals in :08 seconds off the face off to help put the game away.

Hats off to Eastlake for a strong come back in the second half. Good luck the rest of the season.

Good performance by Eastlake, especially in the second half. An exciting game with the Eastlake defence soaking up the pressure in the first half to keep the score to 4-0 at half time.
