| Game Summary | The Hot Tamales held off a last minute surge by the Thunderbolts and extended their win streak to 4 in a row. Lily Tucker led the Tamales in steals and added several timely assists. Elizabeth Adkins was high scorer for the team with 14 points and Samantha Whitney had a team high of six rebounds. Katie O’Loughlin had an all around solid performance with 3 baskets and four rebounds. Inspiring defense by Essense Hodge and Elizabeth Jaber helped the Hot Tamales pull out the victory. The Thunderbolts played solid defense during the first half but missed many lay-ins and fast break shots. The Hot Tamales led by 9 in the 3rd qtr, but the Thunderbolts staged a furious comeback for an exciting finish. Thunderbolts’ Kelsey McKeon led with 13 points and nine rebounds. Jessica Ravetti scored eight points with five rebounds, Gariana Youngblood added four points and two rebounds. Katie Mandell had two points, Katherine Dimitruk added three boards and two steals. Winnie Chen had two. |
