| Game Summary | McDonald’s Shoreline Untouchable Shooters had a successful win over the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Mariela De Leon had three great defensive rebounds. It was a fast nail-biting game with the lead going back and forth in the first period. Caila Devlin had a free throw with the sound of a swish. Kendall Miller had eight points and 11 rebounds with three steals. Lisa Bertholdt had 10 points with some impressive lay-ups as well as 14 rebounds. Kennedy Russ was quick on her feet to get one steal and one rebound. In their final game of the season, the Red Hot Chili Peppers displayed more of their great teamwork. Eileen Rhatigan showed some fine shooting scoring her first points of the season, drawing huge cheers from her teammates, coach, and fans. Meida Tautalatasi scored two beautiful early layups and continued with her strong offense and defense. Simone Willcox displayed her excellent ball-handling and scored two free throws. Bella Vick, Zoe Wagner, and Christine Lee, excelled with excellent defense and rebounding, and Christina Chu, Skylare Perez, Lean-Rose Luistro, and Rebecca Eggert all continued their hussle to the very end. The Red Hot Chili Peppers had a great year, can't wait until next year, and wish both teams good luck in the championship game next week. |
