The Blasters put together a strong effort in this exciting contest against the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Rebecca Rochlin led the scoring with 11 points, Olivia McKeon added seven, and Megan Cvitanovic contributed five points and six rebounds. Taylor Jackson and Alanna Norman each added two points and three rebounds. Josephine Boyd and Nora Kettles also pulled down some key rebounds down the stretch for the Blasters.The Red Hot Chili Peppers showed their great teamwork with a stellar execution of their new 'sandwich' defense technique. Meida Tautalatasi had an awesome game, with 15 points, seven rebounds, and six steals. Simone Willcox played strong, holding off the Blasters with excellent blocking coverage. Skylar Perez with her five rebounds, two steals, and two assists kept the Blasters close, while Christina Chu and Zoe Wagner accounted for several steals each. |
