The Blasters got off to a quick start in this high-scoring contest, with Olivia McKeon leading the team with 14 points, and Megan Cvitanovic adding another eight points. Defense was key for the Blasters, with McKeon, Cvitanovic, Alanna Norman, Jackie Thomas, Rebecca Rochlin, and Taylor Jackson combining for 30 rebounds. Cvitanovic also had a blocked shot. The McDonald’s Untouchable Shooters were not successful, but deserve a lot for their great efforts. Lenora Yee contributed to the game with enthusiasm and aggressiveness. Maya Venner had an astounding game with eight steals and six points and kept it fast-paced. Kendall Miller and Lisa Bertholdt brought their consistent talents to the game. Kendall and Lisa led the team in points with seven each and they had 21 rebounds combined. Hailey McKenna had an awesome game with five rebounds. |
