| Game Summary | The Blasters jumped out to an early lead, but the Red Hot Chili Peppers closed the gap in this thriller! The Blasters' Megan Cvitanovic led the team with 11 points and seven rebounds, while Taylor Jackson added six points and three rebounds. Alanna Norman and Olivia McKeon contributed four points each, and McKeon and Danielle Simpson each pulled down four rebounds for the Blasters. The Red Hot Chili Peppers showed off their moves in this exciting game which featured an amazing first quarter pass assist by Eileen Rhatigan to Meida Tautalatasi that earned two points for the team. Other standouts, Christine Lee who demonstrated her terrific blocking and passing abilities and Zoe Wagner who performed impressively in her first time out as point guard. Despite two steals and great guarding by Lean Luistro and two rebound points by Simone Willcox in the fourth quarter, the Red Hot Chili Peppers lost by a single point. |
