The Rebels displayed outstanding teamwork as they came away with the overtime victory in this exciting, high-energy game. The Rebels and Warriors were going head to head in a close game until the Warriors pulled ahead by 9 points. Michael Kelly put on a tremendous performance scoring 20 points for the Rebels--two of those electrifying points were made at the free throw line which sent the game into overtime. Jon Naulty stayed strong on defense with rebounds and two key blocks; Kenny Swain and Moises Haro also helped on defense. Ryan Cooper hit a 3-pointer and Davin Hodge made a 2-point bucket keeping the drive going. Julian Walker put in some work on the court with 10 points and two steals. Gabe Ross came into the game in the 4th quarter with force causing two turnovers and landing a 3-point shot. Warriors’ Freddy Smith scored two points and made an alley-oop pass to Mark Padriquilla who scored a total of 12 points. Ivan Linh had 20 points and six rebounds. Miguel Padilla had two points and 14 rebounds. Jonix Gatato-Telmo had three rebounds. Jesse Cruz had six re-bounds. Kyle Wenceslao also assisted with rebounds along with great teamwork by Steven Santiago. |
