Despite being outplayed in the first quarter and behind 10-2, the Blue Angels came back and outscored the Titans 21-3 in the second quarter to take a 23-13 lead at the end of the first half. The Titans got their rhythm back in the third quarter and played well throughout the second half. The Titans were led by Justin Deierling who scored a team high nine points including a long 3-pointer in the third quarter. Reed Sullivan added eight points for the Titans. The Blue Angels played a solid second half and got balanced scoring from several players including Elijah Fisher with seven, Matt Canalin with nine, Max Jacobs with eight, and Theo Augustine led with 12 points. Calvin Tran led in rebounding with 11 and added four points. Curtis Cheung added three rebounds and two points and Ridwaw Mohamedmur had four rebounds. The win improved the Blue Angels record to 8-1. |
