The Ballers came out strong leading, but by the end of the third quarter the teams found themselves tied 21-21. In the final quarter the Blue Angels took the lead for good. They were led by Elijah Fisher who scored eight of his 15 points in the fourth quarter including six clutch free throws. Max Jacobs had another strong outing with 11 points, four rebounds, two blocks, and six steals. The defensive player of the game was Curtis Cheung. He had six rebounds and two steals. Ridwan Mohamedmur added four points for the victorious Angels. Sam Kunz provided a whopping 22 points and 18 rebounds to lead an energy-packed charge by the Ballers. Point guard Alex Fernandez commanded a good show. Alex Doyle brought 4 points and Patrick Reilly sunk a fine 3-pointer under pressure. Gabe Macalino proved his talents at the line, earning three free throw points and added 12 rebounds to the mix of this exciting game. |
