| Game Summary |
The Spartans lost a fierce defensive battle against the Blue Angels in an early Super Bowl Sunday morning game. Nathan Johnson and Jordon Santa Maria were tough on the defensive boards while Keelan Doss led in scoring with eight points. Charlie Harkins and Matt Republicano made some terrific shots with Jacob Charney contributing at both ends of the court. In the second quarter the Blue Angels finally woke up and got back into the game with stout defense and a strong press. The Blue Angels led 15-14 at the half. The Blue Angels pulled away for good in the third quarter, led by Theo Augustine who led all scorers with 20 points. He also added eight rebounds and six steals. Calvin Tran had eight points and seven rebounds, and Max Jacobs had a good all around game with six points, seven rebounds, four blocked shots and four steals. |
