The Titans struggled in the first half but settled down in the second with tough defense and balanced scoring. Jimmy Ruck hit several key shots, one following a beautiful assist by Tavio Guevara, for a total of 10 points. Matthew Cruz, Reed Sullivan, and Justin Deierling added six points each, with Cruz grabbing 11 rebounds and Deierling snagging four steals. Jordan Butler’s defense kept the Titans in the first half and Joe Ruck controlled the second half tempo. Lead by Alex Fernandez at point guard and fine shooting by Sam Kunz (15 points, 10 rebounds), the BALLERS held the Titans for much of the game. Alex Doyle found one at the line, Gabe Macalino wowed the crowd with three beauties in a row for six points and Patrick Reilly found a well deserved two. |
