Quick break offense, ball movement and stifling defense sparked a second quarter run as the Carlson Quinn & Associates Jukesters pulled away from the Lucky Stars in Sunday action. Flashy ball movement and precision passing from Rowland Markheim, 12 points, and finishing by Victor Verduzco, 12 points, fueled the run. Andrew Rusca and Andy Lau pulled down key rebounds and provided inside defense as the Jukesters rolled. Guard Sean Cunningham, 16 points, and Niccolo Delucca, four points, pressed continually and added speed to the breaks. For the Lucky Charms, guard Steven Guintini and Joe Riley, and forward Max Losada were effective with mid-range jumpers shooting over the Jukesters zone defense.
