| Game Summary |
Smothering defense and a fast break frenzy fueled the Jukesters to a huge win in the opening day the season. Sean Cunningham and Victor Verduzco led scorers with 22 and 16 respectively. Rookies Andy Lau and Billy Lau each scored buckets in their first game in the league. Ball movement and defense by forward Rowland Markheim and guard Nick Mainaga were outstanding. The Red Team players were sparked by Allen Williams and Alex Vick, both making nice passes to free up open shots. |
