Game Summary | The Alameda Firefighters' Association Bulldogs gave the La Piñata No. 3 Warriors a run for the money, but came up short when the Warriors prevailed. The lead changed eight times, but nine unanswered points by the Warriors thanks to handy steals by Vincent Garcia with five minutes to go sealed the deal. Joe Rockwell wore the mantle of playmaker, barking orders and hustling the ball down the court. Luis Solares came through with five points, and Jack Neary and Josiah Lee garnered two each. Anthony Vargas Pena dominated the boards and contributed a timely bucket.. As usual, the hard driving and hard shooting Estaban Lovato led the Warrior effort with sixteen points. We all look forward to the playoffs. Colby Freeman led the Bulldogs charge with 10 points and 10 rebounds along with three steals. Wesley Cheung stepped up his game and had his best outing with seven points, two rebounds and a steal. Nathan Low came in and made a great rebound and Jacob Skaff also earned a rebound and a steal. Jack Delmore made four points and 10 rebounds, plus a block and two steals. Barrett Robertson has two points and Michael Kim added three. Jake Smith and Mitchell Floyd helped the team with their defense. |
