| Game Summary |
The Ligers used a smothering defense, along with some tenacious rebounding to get back in the win column against the Gunners. The Ligers rebounding machine was led by the front line of Bronson Lee (16), Kai Schniedergers (six) and Mica Sanchez (five). Toan Nguyen slammed down a big momentum changing bucket in the first half. The 'dish and shoot' combination of Angel Munoz and Vincent Republicano proved to be deadly and decisive in the second half. Gillman's Gunners (www.vongillman.com) lost a tough, hard fought game. Though they trailed the entire game to the tough Ligers, the Gunners never gave up but could not get the lid off of their hoop. Alex Ingalls notched eight points, Satchel Fisher dropped in six and Cameron Putterman and Anthony added two points each for the Gunners. |
