Game Summary | The Gilman's Gunners are no longer undefeated, but not for lack of a great effort in this classic nail biter. Gunner Satchel Fisher came out of the blocks fast with scoring and rebounds, but was more than matched by Warrior's hard driving Esteban Lovato. Preston Choi of the Warriors kept up defensive pressure, while Luis Solares put up Warrior points. Though Cameron Putterman (eight rebounds) and Mingus Knox-White (seven rebounds) dominated the boards for the Gunners, and Alex Ingalls' agile playmaking (nine points, five steals, three assists), kept the Gunners on offense, they couldn't convert the points past the dogged defense of Jack Neary and Anthony Varges Pena. Benjamin Choi's high percentage and clutch shooting clinched this very tough victory for the La Pinata #3 Warriors. Gillman’s Gunners had a solid team effort with Lean Nagrampa adding six points and 11 rebounds, Satchel Fisher knocked down five points, grabbed eight rebounds and three steals, Omar Thaxter had 4 points, Anthony Lee tossed in 2 points. Christopher McCarver played solid defense for the Gunners. |
