| Game Summary | The Golden Bears took an early lead and held off a late charge by the Wildcats for the win. Amado Lozano and Mikey Lee led the Golden Bears to their first victory of the season. Strong post play by A. J. Tong gave the Bears an early lead. The Wildcats rallied in the second quarter to make the game close by half, but tight defense by Jason Gee and Ryan Lym kept the Bears in the lead. The Wildcats’ Jared Kathman led the scoring with 6 points. Alex English led the defensive effort with five steals. Kyle Kathman took the ball strong to the hoop and added three steals. Lucas Bayard played very hard on defense and added a nice swish from the free-throw line. Dylan Bell also worked very hard on defense, stopping the ball at critical moments of the game. . |
