| Game Summary | The Rivercats jumped to an early lead and held off a late inning charge by the Scrappers in rare, sunny AAA action this weekend. Hits by Travis N, Cristian H, Eli W, Jason W, and Gabriel B ,and a double from Alex C led to 5-run first for the Cats that the Scrappers could not overcome. The Scrapper bats were alive throughout the game, led by Kenji F (3-for-3), Asher J (1-for-1, walk), Eivind L, and Alex G. Strong defense and excellent pitching from Cristian H and Alex C held the Scrappers to 2 runs, while Kenji F and Corey C kept the Rivercats scoreless after the first inning. | ||
