With the Mountain Conference lead at stake, this one took on a playoff atmosphere and went down to the wire.

Issaquah jumped on the board first just a minute and half in as Andrew Morris found Brendon Frye popping hard on the crease for the catch and finish. Issaquah wouldn't score again until the 2nd half though as Spencer Schmidt started saving everything thrown his way. Bellevue tied the score half way through the period as Jeff Spengler beat his defender at X and found a cutting Derek Soike. Bellevue then took the lead with 2 minutes left in the period on a Jake Medwell finish. Teams went scoreless in the 2nd period, 2-1 Bellevue at half.

Bellevue scored the first goal of the second half as an opportunistic Andres Blumer picked up a rebound off a Garrett Johnson save and finished. Travis Wright answered on a beautiful individual effort just 40 seconds later. With 1:33 left in the 3rd, Bellevue took a 2-goal lead again by capitalizing on a man-up. Jeff Spengler fed Jonah Crollard to the keepers high right and Crollard ripped it top shelf from about 10 yds. Issaquah answered as Brendon Frye dodged from up top and finished unassisted to make it 4-3 Bellevue headed to the 4th.

A minute into the quarter Wright ripped side net on dodge from up top to tie the game. Just over a minute later, Andrew Morris initiated and found David Campi cutting through the crease to give Issaquah a 5-4 advantage. The next 7 minutes saw a lot of Bellevue possession, but Garrett Johnson kept the nets clean and Issaquah finally managed to settle on offense and control the last few minutes. After a time-out with under a minute left, Wright set up prepared to stall. Bellevue failed to double and left the crease empty, so Wright simply beat his man to the cage and iced the game.
