St. Matthew - Ziolo Notes:
The sixth game of the season saw St. Matthew’s take on a tough St. Gabe’s team in an exciting matchup that included a leaky roof at the St. Matthew school gym. St. Matt’s displayed a balanced attack throughout, highlighted by excellent passing all around. Jacob B. delivered the basket on an up & in rebound. Carson S. played an assortment of positions while setting it up for some steals and rebounds. Mike G. displayed warp speed on offense (with the ball entering hyper speed on occasion) and combined it with tough defense. Chris Z. weaved through the trap and hit the forwards down low. Brady S. was the rebounding machine contributing the down low points. Matt C. was the man in the middle driving home the baskets. Chris E. was tough on defense blocking out the paint. Pat S. was hustling up and down the court while tying up the opposition. Jimmy W. led the charge while hitting the lay-ups. Matt G. put up some good baseline shots while displaying a tough hustle defense.
