St. Matthew - Ziolo Notes:
The third game of the season saw St. Matthew’s make it’s final appearance at the North Pole, oops, I mean Northridge, against a pressing and tough JCC team. Once again the Magnificent Seven (the remake had some new actors) put together a fine effort in preparation for the tough 2nd half of the season next year. Chris E. was solid in the paint and hit a season high scoring mark. Matt C. was terrific for his first game of the season, which was filled with a stocking full of points. Carson had all the fans eyes glued on a high altitude shot from downtown that gracefully descended to nothing but Net! Chris Z. was the dribbling and driving machine that led to a bunch of opponent fouls and St. Matthew points. Jacob had some great fast break opportunities that had the bench anticipating a reverse windmill dunk (well almost). Brady’s awesome rebounds and all around hustle led to basketful of cheerful points. Matt G. played great defense and hit the scorebook too.
