St. Matthew - Ziolo Notes:
The second game of the season saw St. Matthew’s traveling up North to take on a tenacious St. John Nuemann’s team. With some players at Duke watching the Charlotte Catholic Cougars take the State Championship, and Matt C. fighting off a tough illness, the remaining Magnificent Seven came out with guns loaded. Great job by Matt G. using the glass while Carson was all net! Chris E. delivered on the f/t line and fought off a bunch of elbows to keep the paint secure. Brady put on a truly awesome display filling up the scorebook with an exponential double/double!
Patrick was great during the battle of the boards! Chris Z. was masterful in the steals and assists category! Kudos to Jimmy who kept lighting up the board on the drive to the hoop! Magnificent job by ALL!
