Pelicans Notes:
After a two week layoff and with their final practice forsaken in favor of A's Night, the concern would be timing of the Pelicans' bats. Mets hurler DylanS provided the challenge - he walked just 1 batter thru 4 innings - but the Pels bats were simply indominatable as they scored runs in each inning except the 5th. A barrage of singles (2 out singles, bloop singles, line drive singles, infield singles, 2 strike singles...) peppered with the occasional double eventually put up two touchdowns for the yellow and black. Rolling the lineup as they did, the Pels also ensured that they could roll substitutes and altho almost everybody was on the bench eventually, nobody sat for more than two innings.

On the other side of the diamond, Mumbles threw a complete game 3 hitter. FishStick, Postcard and Strawberry turned one of those hits into an 8-6-5 putout at third.
