| Game Summary | Down 2-0 early, the Mariners clawed their way back. In the 4th, Cody doubled, stole 3rd and was driven in by Pete. The M's killed a Mets rally in the 5th when Matt threw out the runner stealing 2nd. In the bottom of the 5th Zak beat out an high chopper to third and was driven in by Aaron's single. The game entered the 7th tied 2-2. Jake walked the bases full before setting the Met's down in order. In the the bottom of the 7th, Pete walked, Alex came in as a pitch runner, Aaron singled and Jordan beat out a bunt to load the bases. Cody quickly ended the game with a shot to the fence in left center. Jeremy and Jake pitched a well in a tight game. Both pitched themselves out of trouble to keep the M's in the game. Jake had 5 k's while Jeremy struck out 2. |
