The Pepperonis and the Hot Shots were evenly matched in the first half, trading turnovers and scoring only four points. The Pepperonis took the lead for good in the third quarter and withstood a Hot Shots comeback in the fourth quarter. Camilla Vaernes played her best game for the Hot Shots, showing spirit and aggression in grabbing 13 rebounds, making three steals and scoring two points. Sydney Lewis also scored two points and Rosie Russell led the Hot Shots in scoring with 10 points. |
