Parker Orthodontics "Red Fireblazers" Notes:
The Red Fire Blazers continued its tough defense and skilled offense with a
26-12 victory over the Hurricanes. The Fire Blazers jumped out to a 7-0
lead in the first quarter, but the Hurricanes fought back to make it 16-7 at
halftime. The Hurricanes made halftime adjustments, stifled the Fire
Blazer’s offense, and reduced the lead to 16-12 by the end of the third
quarter. With only five players, the Fire Blazers rallied off 10 unanswered
points to secure a win, 26-12.

Alex Siffuentes had a game high 12 points, and her defense caused 7 steals
and 2 blocked shots. She prevented their top players from receiving the
ball. Jessica Ravetti had 17 of the team’s 26 rebounds and contributed with
6 steals and 6 points. Gabi Obando and Vicky Gomez’s intimidating defense
in the key accounted for 6 blocks, 4 rebounds and 3 blocks, respectively.
The victory was secured in the middle of the fourth quarter when Madison
Wilcox made back to back baskets and totaled 7 points while quarterbacking
the offense.
