| Team Summaries | Mets Notes: Ryan W. had an explosive day at the plate going 3 for 3 with 2 home runs, 5 RBI and 4 runs scored to lead the Mets to an 11-9 victory over the Giants. Ryan also turned two double plays at SS to counter Giant rallys in the 1st & 4th innings. Scott B. added a 2-RBI single in the 1st to help spark the Mets offensive attack. On the hill, the combination of Charlie S. and Ricky N. gave the Mets another 6 workman like innings and Liam D., in his first action on hill this year, came in and closed the door in the 7th. The Mets were also aided by two fine defensive plays in the field from Elliot G. as he made a diving catch in center in the 3rd and another running catch a 2nd base in the 5th. Giants Notes: |
