Pelicans Notes:
The Pelicans thwart a furious comeback by the Giants as this game ends with the tying run at third base.

Deuce Davis pitches four efficient innings before giving way to Elmer King. King's first pitch is hit almost to Back Caldecott, but the Pelicans of 2004 never say die. Bulldog chased it down, relaying it to BLC, who fired a strike to Tika Taylor at the plate for the out.

Scooter Jackson contributed an RBI single and a couple runs scored and Mario Gomez lined a double to left center to drive home the GW run in the 6th.
