Pelicans Notes:
The 3-0 Pels ran into a buzzsaw this afternoon, falling 7-0 to the Padres in general, and to Sean B-M in particular. Sean threw a complete game gem in just 85 pitches; he allowed no walks and just one hit to Big League Chu and was in control throughout.

Despite the prolific Padre pitching performance, the Pels' had nothing to be ashamed of. There were just 4 strikeouts in the game, as the Pels hit ball after ball into the teeth of the Padre defense.

Defensively, the Pels were led by GogoC who dropped a textbook tag on a runner at the plate, and Twig who made several acrobatic plays at first.
