Team Summaries Astros Notes:
Geo took the hill for his inaugural Sr. American start, workinginto the 4th inning before giving way to Spencer. Both Astro pitchers worked their way into and out of trouble all afternoon, and 3 times, they left the bags filled with Angels. But the real stat of the day was the number of baserunners retired while between the bags. Aggressive baserunning did not pay many dividends today, as 4 Angel runners and 2 Astro runners were retired by heads up defense. Hurler Geo and centerfielder Bryce combined for a sneaky pick off at 2nd base, in a play that set the tone as a tough day for baserunners. Spencer went 4 for 4, including a mammoth triple to the depths of Bushrod. Kani added a triple of his own. James turned a double play from 3B to keep the ANgels from scoring in the first inning.

Angels Notes:
The Angels came ready to play the beast from the South also known as the Astros. A good fight ensued with the Astros prevailing in a hard fought game. For the Angels their woes were in having 13 men left on base and another 4 thrown out on the base paths. Ned L. led the way with 3 hits and an rbi and Isaac Y. contributed 2 hits and an rbi. The play of the game and possibly season was made on a great relay play from Halley Y. to Jordan E. and then out of nowhere the pitcher Gary R-O. grabbed the ball as Spencer W. collided into him. How he hung unto the ball is anyone's guess.
