Team Summaries | Rockies Notes: On a cold and windy afternoon the Rockies hosted the Twins at scenic Caldecott field. The Twins started the game with a bang as their leadoff hitter did his best Ricky Henderson imidation homering to lead off the game. The Twins staring pitcher held the Rockies scoress through the first 3 innings. The Rockies managed two runs in the bottom of the 4th and rode the strong pitching of Sean B the rest of the way. Sean B. completed the game with an efficient 2-hit complete game and was supported by the suprisingly stellar Rockies defense. The defensive highlights were provided by Adam B., Tom G and of course Sean M. This game that was much closer than the final score would indicate, and the Rockies were lucky to escape this Sunday with a victory. Twins Notes: |
