Game Summary | The Angels came back from a 2-run deficit to defeat the Royals in a tightly fought game. Ian McA pitched three solid innings and Jack H held the Royals in check completing the last three with only 29 pitches, but the game was won by the Angel's defense. Jack H snagged a hard grounder at first, stepped on the bag and gunned out the runner trying to score shutting down a Royals rally. Charlie W made a diving catch and made a double play to record all of the outs in the 4th inning. Key RBIs came from Ian McA, Hunter J and Zack I. The Royals were paced by a strong pitching performance by Nick W. who struck out five in four innings. Andrew M. added two hits, including a down-the-line double to the Royals’ attack. |
