Game Summary | Rainiers 19 Islanders 5 Despite the final score this game between the Rainiers and Islanders was close for the first three innings. The spirited Islanders got on board first with two runs and built upon the lead thanks to a 2 RBI hit by Jamie W. But solid pitching by Rainiers starter Andrew B. and closer Vincent B. held the Islanders to five runs. Cameron W. turned a double play from shortstop on an excellent low line-drive catch and quick throw to third to get the runner. The Rainiers bats were active, especially Chris C. who had a grand-slam in the park home run. |
